Had an absolutely amazing experience on the chocolate and whisky tour with Neil. The tour of the distillery was very informative and interesting. The whisky tasting was varied and provided a nice snapshot of the distillery whilst the paired chocolates were delicious and made the whiskies more interesting. Overall, I would 100% recommend a visit.
The tour of distillery was booked by a dear friend and it turned out to be informative and a pleasant experience. Special thanks to Dianne and Rebecca who were thorough in imparting info on distillation process and whiskey tasting techniques. We tasted 10 & 15 years matured single malt scotch which is a part of the paid tour and bought few glasses from the on-site shop.
Very good tour and tasting of whiskey
I believe this tour is excellent value for money and I was happy to know that it is the most sustainable distillery in Scotland. If you are looking for a whiskey tour this must be one of the best to take near Edinburg or Glasgow.
As it is in the countryside it adds a little more magic to it. In the end you get a discount in the shop.
It is easy to visit by bus and you get all the views with mountains. The ticket by bus was 10 quid return. Hope you find this review helpful. Cheers.
What a delightful visit and great distillery experience. It is an Uber, taxi, or bus ride from downtown Glasgow but with a little planning, is well worth the trip. The staff was very knowledgeable and eager to help with our transportation logistics. Three blissful samples of outstanding Scotch and chocolate made the tasting a strong finish. If you like Scotch and distillery tours, it’s a must see for the curious. Carlos, Holly, and Robert were exceptionally helpful.
Independently owned distillery. Great grounds and informative, entertaining tasting. We visited during the silent period which we knew before we booked but did not miss the tour. Highly recommend if you want an independent distillery which is getting hard to find.
OMG the distillery surpassed any expectations of mine, from the website I was a little unsure, but arriving and being greeted with amazing staff, in such an idyllic setting was fantastic.
We didn't book a tour, a mistake. But the staff were amazing... thank you so very much - we'll be back soon...
Amazing master tour! The gift shop was also great. The guide was welcoming and knowledgeable. It was very nicely done.
Great Tour! Well worth the money and the guide Jackie was extremely knowledgeable and a great host. Got to see a lot of behind the scenes and overall well worth a visit. Highly recommended 👌 …
